I see you
Now time to
lie in wait
As expected you make your presence known
I have watched you for quite some time now
Knowing just the right time to
pounce
and when to let you come to me
My motives obscured by initial aloofness
I slowly enchant and work my
magic on you
All the while you remain unaware of what I am:
A predator in search of prey
Loner
Trust broken
Now you no longer mean
anything to me
All memory of you is now
tarnished
Can't stand to look at your face
There's no way I can stay now
When forced to protect all I am
and stand for
Disgust with myself for trusting
You no longer are a person to me
Time for me to disappear
Once again
Now left alone
Initial euphoria
Turns to emptiness
My only friend the thoughts
inside my head
